We build compliant AI products for US defense contractors.

Our Thesis

Own your software. Own your data.

For decades, the only way to get software into a defense program was to wait for a vendor to build it, certify it, and sell it back to you. That made sense once. It doesn't anymore.

The contractors handling the most sensitive data in the world have had the least say over the software that touches it. Eight figure platforms deployed over three years, used by twelve people. Vendor roadmaps that don't move at the speed of the threat. And underneath all of it, the same problem: no two contractors need the same thing. A hypersonics company doesn't run on a satellite operator's workflows. A shipyard doesn't share a data model with a drone manufacturer.

There wasn't an alternative because this industry never had software engineers sitting around to build its own tools. AI changed that. A small team can now ship the application their mission needs in weeks. Own the code. Own the data. Self host the whole thing.

The only piece they shouldn't have to build is the AI underneath. Cleared model contracts, a hardened data boundary, US only infrastructure, the evidence trail your assessor wants. That's the same job for every contractor in the country. We did it so you don't have to.

Consus is the compliant AI layer for ITAR and CUI workloads: FedRAMP Equivalent, assessed at the High baseline, with zero data retention. Your applications stay yours. Your data stays in your boundary.

The next decade of defense software won't be written by the next COTS vendor in the certification queue. It will be written by the contractors themselves. We're building the layer that lets them.
